  1. Find a property

    About 10 minutes · you

Your journey starts with the right home. Rent, deposit, availability, furnishing, photos and tenancy details provided on enquiry.

  2. Confirm your interest

    Same day · us

Ready to proceed? We start your application. Registered by our team, continued via Goodlord invite. Fully remote, no office visit.

  3. Complete your Goodlord application

About 20 minutes · you, online

Everything in one digital process. Secure email invite covering identity, address, employment, history and affordability.

  4. Referencing and checks

3 to 5 working days · us and Goodlord

We verify what the tenancy needs. Identity, affordability, employment and landlord references as applicable. If anything would fail, we tell you what is needed before you pay anything.

  5. Review and sign

    Same day · you, online

Know what you agree to before you commit. Documents provided electronically, reviewed, then e-signed. No in-person meeting needed.

  6. Move-in payments

Same day · you, inside Goodlord

Clear instructions through the authorised process. Deposit, first rent and any other lawful payments.

Never pay the key-handover person. Pay deposit and first rent only inside your Goodlord link. We never ask for bank transfers or WhatsApp payments.
  7. Tenancy confirmed, keys arranged

    Move-in day · local partner

Everything completed. Time to move in. An authorised local partner meets you at the agreed time once we confirm. They collect no payments.

What you do not need to do

No office visit. No paper contracts in person. Clear communication throughout. Need help? Call .

Renters' Rights Act 2025: what it means for you

In plain terms: more security for tenants, clearer rules for landlords. Your deposit stays protected, rent can only rise once a year, and ending a tenancy follows set legal grounds. We handle compliance for you.

Rules differ by property, tenancy type and UK nation. See RRA guidance and Fees. Property-specific requirements are explained during your application.

Before you apply

Deposit, income checks and ID vary by property. You see the full tenancy agreement in Goodlord before you pay anything.
